Don't Break.
Overview
Don't Break. ("we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile game Don't Break. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Gameplay data (anonymous): scores, session length, in-game actions, levels, and other gameplay telemetry for improving the game experience. This data is not linked to your identity.
- Purchases & entitlements: purchase receipts and entitlement state (e.g., "remove_ads") via RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- Advertising data: ad requests and identifiers used by Google AdMob for serving ads. We request non-personalized ads where supported.
- Device & diagnostic info: device model, OS version, app version, crash logs and basic diagnostic data to fix bugs and improve performance.
We do not collect personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location) unless you provide them directly (for example by emailing us).
Third-Party Services
We use third-party services that may collect and process data:
- RevenueCat — purchase management, entitlements, and related device/purchase metadata. revenuecat.com/privacy
- Google AdMob (react-native-google-mobile-ads) — ad serving and related telemetry (ad requests, device identifiers). policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- App distribution: Apple App Store and Google Play — payment processing and store-level receipts are handled by the platform providers; see their policies.
These services have their own privacy practices; please review their privacy policies. We do not control their practices.
How We Use Information
- Operate and maintain the App and provide purchased entitlements.
- Analyze gameplay to improve features and balance.
- Diagnose and fix crashes and other technical issues.
- Serve ads (non-personalized when requested).
We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising profiling ourselves.
Legal Basis (EU/GDPR)
If you are an EU resident, our lawful bases for processing include:
- Performance of a contract (processing purchases and entitlements).
- Legitimate interests (improving and securing the App, debugging).
Where required, we will ask for consent before processing for other purposes.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:
- Access, correct, or update data we hold about you.
- Request deletion or restriction of processing.

To make requests, contact dontbreakapp@gmail.com. We may ask for information to verify identity and respond within 30 days where required by law.
Data Retention

- Crash reports and diagnostics: retained up to 90 days.
- Purchase records: retained as necessary to provide your entitlements and comply with legal obligations.
If you request deletion, we will remove data we control unless retention is required by law.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Don't Break. is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child provided personal data, contact dontbreakapp@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.
Advertising & Opt-Out
We use Google AdMob to show ads. We set requests to prefer non-personalized ads where supported, but ad networks may still collect information necessary to serve ads. To opt out of ad personalization:
- On iOS: use App Tracking Transparency and iOS privacy settings.
- On Android: adjust Ads Personalization in your Google account settings.
If you wish us to disable analytics or remove you from certain telemetry, contact dontbreakapp@gmail.com and we will advise available options.
Security & International Transfers
We take reasonable measures to protect data. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure. Data processed by third parties may be transferred to servers located outside your jurisdiction (for example, the United States). By using the App you consent to such transfers as described in third-party policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will post the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Where Your Data Appears
- In-app: entitlements managed by RevenueCat.
- Ad networks: ad requests to Google AdMob.
- Server-side (if used): any backend services you deploy (our repo includes an optional API server which may use firebase-admin or Sentry for diagnostics — those are server-side and subject to their own policies).
